KANON Architects was founded by Canon Manley.  Canon is a licensed architect and contractor.  Canon trained at the Georgia Institute of Technology to achieve his BS of Architecture, and spent a subsequent 3 years achieving his Masters of Architecture and Masters of City and Regional Planning.

After working in the insurance business for 12 years, Brooke Manley decided to bring her administrative skills to her husband’s company. She received her BS in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2010. She is also a full-time mom to her two son’s, Camden and Knox. She loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, being involved in her church’s moms group, volunteering at her sons school, and taking Barre classes. She looks forward to gaining more knowledge about the exciting world of architecture.

Brianna “Brie” Langman is a designer from central Florida. She relocated to Atlanta shortly after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from Florida State University. She now attends the University of Alabama where she is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marketing Analytics which will strengthen her ability to make informed design decisions as she progresses further in the Architecture and Interior Design Industry.

Brie has experience in conceptual design, 3d visualization, and construction documentation of residential, hospitality, mixed-use multifamily high-rise, and even Department of Defense projects. She says working in design is the perfect way to apply her creative expression into real-world spaces that have a lasting impact on people’s lives.

Anthony Yan is a Brooklyn born Architect-in-training with a passion for all things design. He has an interest in automotive, industrial, furniture, and urban design just to name a few. His graduating thesis: “The City Aetherus: An Urban Design Methodology for Energy Use” was focused on how urban morphological form can be intuitively designed to lower energy usage and still present great civic spaces to growing cities around the world. Anthony graduated in May 2020 with this thesis, with a 5-Year Professional B.Arch from Kennesaw State University (formerly Southern Polytechnic State University).

Even before graduation he has attained some experience and knowledge in the field after working at the Preston Partnership and TVSdesign. He has experience working in multifamily, residential, laboratory, office, security improvements, and high-rises.

He is currently working on licensure at Kanon Architects and waiting for the day to return to school for a Master’s degree in a related field so that he can teach architecture somewhere down the line in his career.
